The other day Duchess asked me, "Mom, can you touch your uvula?"
I asked, "Do you even know what you are talking about?"
She replied, "Yeah. (opening her mouth very wide) I can almost touch mine with my tongue. Can you?"

ReplyDeleteI'm impressed! I sure didn't know what an uvula was at that age. Let alone think to touch it. My tongue is no gymnast; I'm still amazed by people who can knot a cherry stem with their tongues.
