My heart goes out to kids who don't believe in themselves and try new things. I cry for children who don't know the joy that comes from knowing that Jesus is their best friend and he likes them and who you know is all that matters!Mike and Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00432696541518313731noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4659034713628669873.post-1708942718913008572008-02-20T10:06:00.000-06:002008-02-20T10:06:00.000-06:00I see that I'm not alone. I actually thought that class was a cruel old tradition that needed to be abolished as a child. I had no idea that they actually thought it should be something GOOD for us! LOL I'm glad that my kids can choose classes/sports that they enjoy and are actually interested in and not subjected to all that "fun".

No worries, though. I'm sure you will be "approved" to join. ;-)

Tanya
http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/Tatiana/Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4659034713628669873.post-16027447270850441122008-02-20T01:33:00.000-06:002008-02-20T01:33:00.000-06:00Grrr. It may have had something to do with my total lack of athletic ability, but it still hurt.

And someone (adult who should have known better) at our school had the bright idea that we all had to play ball at recess time. That's fun, being forced to play when no one wants you to.

Yeah, it may have been 30 (or more) years ago, but you don't forget the feelings.

Though I don't homeschool now, it is one of the things I really appreciated.Dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16636289951050876131noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4659034713628669873.post-6877027455732440292008-02-18T23:21:00.000-06:002008-02-18T23:21:00.000-06:00I was usually picked in the middle.
